You can play as Ali himself, or you can try to work your way up the ranks to earn a shot at taking the title away from him. Two styles of gameplay, arcade and simulation, offer a distinctly different experience each time you play. Arcade mode for those who just want to get in there and slug it out, or a simulation mode for more in-depth gameplay.

In Muhammed Ali Heavyweight Boxing there are various punches you can do and they do more damage depending on where they're hit. As you get hit your health bar will go down until it's empty and you're knocked out. Instead of a single life bar, each boxer has a power and speed bar.
