Legends don't die, and every year the legendary action-adventure game on the shores of the gaming version of Miami - Grand Theft Auto: Vice City proves it. Mafia shootouts, night drives through the dusty roads of Vice City, neon decorations and the established spirit of the eighties are what brings players back to the shores of the dangerous sea once again.

From jail to business

Fifteen years in a maximum-security penitentiary has finally loosened its grip and allowed Tommy Versetti to breathe in the smell of freedom and some cocaine. The mid-eighties, the era of Sicilian dons, drug lords and the rise of the Mafia, accompanied by glam-rock motifs and the sultry sun of Vice City.

Right off the plane, Tommy gets a lucrative job from his superiors to follow up on a drug deal. The deal ends in an expected shootout, Don's loved ones are killed, and the money and a decent dose of drugs escape with the assailants. Don Sonny is not happy, and to put it mildly, if Tommy does not return the money and the goods, a fate worse than death awaits him. The plot will continue to evolve around the errands of the hysterical boss, but from the very beginning, Versetti will find himself at the center of the storm.

## The character of the game

The gameplay of the Grand Theft Auto series has always been different from other games. Even though it had missions with shootouts, the same weapons and cars, the game still remained distinctive and unique. In Vice City, players were surprised and amused by the main character's inability to swim. Water causes as much damage as bullets. Such a mishap in the game became a real viral phenomenon on the internet and was not ridiculed only by the lazy ones.

Transport for All

The variety of transports in the game has always pleased the players. This is certainly no Need for Speed, but it was possible to drive through the streets of the resort town. Missions could be carried out by ambulances or cabs, and after the firefight, you could get a job without leaving your car. Grand Theft Auto: Vice City paid more attention to different types of vehicles, and the player could drive:

• New car models. New for the eighties, of course.
• More than one motorcycle model. Scooters were added, and the handling of two-wheelers was improved.
• Air transport, including military helicopters and airplanes.
