The Lord of the Rings: The Battle for Middle-earth

Not everyone can get to Middle-earth, but you have a chance to visit not only the famous landscapes, but also to lead mighty armies in the strategy - The Lord of the Rings: The Battle for Middle-earth. Light or darkness, which side will you choose in the legendary battles of the fantasy world?

Two sides - one world to fight

The game's plot repeats the chronology of events of the fifth book in the series - "The War of the Ring". However, unlike the characters in the book the players will have a chance to choose a side in this difficult war and try to lead it to victory. In fact, the game is divided into two opposing campaigns, each of which represents the forces of light and darkness. Each side has its own unique heroes who can turn the tide of battle with a single appearance:

• Free Peoples or forces of light - play as such famous fighters as Gandalf, Aragorn, Éomer, Faramir and become famous as a hero for all of Middle-earth
• Mordor, Isengard or the forces of darkness - no one can hide from the formidable gaze of Sauron, much less himself, become one of the heralds of darkness and death along with Gorkil, Gollum, Drogoth, Nazgul and whole armies of the most aggressive creatures of all Middle-earth

The book comes alive on the battlefield

Although the game bears the name of the famous series, but it has no effect on the gameplay. The Lord of the Rings: The Battle for Middle-earth corresponds to all the features of the RTS genre, but instead of faceless and unknown heroes the stars of the famous fantasy book universe fight in heated battles. Choose a side, build a strategy, and stage large-scale battles that will change the entire history of the great continent.

Training with benefits

However, it doesn't always make sense to train for the momentous battles that decide the outcome of a campaign. In Battle Mode, you can freely customize the entire battlefield. Deploy enemy troops, pick their colors, and decide which troops to march to their deaths in battle to win. Each victory in Battle Mode will add experience points to the player, which will affect their level in the main game.
