Game Overview
Beach Head Desert War is a first-person shooter with a distinctive desert atmosphere. The game is arcade-style and is designed to collect the maximum number of points. Of course, the whole point of such games is trying to beat your friend's record or your own.
One against all
Because of the arcade-style and purpose of the game, the gameplay is simple. The player can not move around the map and stays in a fixed position. From this position, it is necessary to shoot the approaching enemy vehicles. For a more successful battle before the attack of the enemies pops up a menu with the weapon, which is needed to parry the blow. Since it is not only ground units that attack, the choice of weapons varies as well:
- M60 machine gun
- Heat-seeking anti-tank missiles
- Minigun
- Anti-aircraft weapons
Waste nerves and ammo
Points are scored for lethal hits. You don't want to waste a limited amount of ammo. One well-aimed hit will yield more points and less cost than blindly shooting across the square.
The game was inspired by military action in Afghanistan. An arcade desert shooter will allow the player to feel like the only warrior in the field, a super-soldier, standing alone against an army of the enemy.
Such arcade simulation games for scoring record points cannot be compared to story-driven shooters like Nation Red.
