Blades of Vengeance
I'veplayed Blades of Vengeance on my Sega Mega Drive/Genesis few months after it was released, when I got it for my birthday. For who doesn't know, the game's purpose is to stop Manax, The Dark Lady from destroying and ruling the world. One or two players can take control of one of the three playable characters and follow the levels until the target has been reached. There are three different playable character: The Huntress, The Warrior and The Sorcerer. The Huntress was the most skilled one, while The Sorcerer was the weaker.
Blades of Vengeance is a side scrolling fantasy action game where players can choose from three different character classes: huntress, warrior, and sorcerer. Armed with a variety of weapons, set out to slay a variety of monsters and free the kingdom. Choosing from a Huntress, Warrior, or Sorcerer, each with their own strengths and weaknesses, you must venture off to put a stop to the chaos. There are plenty of standard attacks but there are also magical attacks which you'll need to learn to use to fend off some of the bigger threats.
Power-ups give spells and items to become invisible, heal wounds, or create a temporary force field. Find money to buy more equipment between eight levels, all of which have end bosses.
