Game Overview
The Year Is 3200, and though our brief foray into the distant future might smack of desperation, it's really the only way across the Pacific we could think of without resorting to using Ship Simulator 2008 twice. It's also the fastest bit of the trip, with a cruising speed of a heady 10,000km/h (that's 2.77 kilometres a second, yeah?). We'd be there in no time.
On our landing approach our boredom and curiosity gets the better of us and we lay waste to random portions of New San Francisco using our 1MW laser. The authorities mobilise their Viper attack crafts, but there's no stopping us as we collide with the spaceport at Mach 8.17, causing untold destruction on a massive scale. Six tonnes of hydrogen fuel erupt in a towering, air-splitting tornado of flaming hell. Everybody dies. The West Coast is a crater. The tumult of mass-energy conversion causes some strange and undetectable effects to occur: four of them to be precise, occurring within one third of a nanosecond. One of these effects, curiously enough, was us being sent back in time 1,200 years. And into the cab of another truck.
