Dead Island: Epidemic is a third-person strategy action game. Control one of several survivors of the zombie apocalypse and use special techniques against the brainless monsters. What if survivors who have been bitten by zombies don't always go dumb and die? Find the answers with John Sinamoi on islands full of decomposing corpses.

Welcome to Zombieland

The events of Dead Island: Epidemic takes place after the end of the Dead Island storyline. John Shinamoi safely escapes from the infested island of Banoi. On neighboring islands, he discovers those infected with the same virus. The Kuru virus has grown from localized disease to an entire epidemic.

Schrödinger's Survivors

Immediately after arriving on the island, the tired hero is surrounded by zombies. John is rescued from such a desperate situation by an unusual group of survivors. This group of survivors is much stronger and faster than ordinary people. The rescuers talk about the side effects of the Kuru virus, which made them superhumans instead of zombies. Twenty-five characters are available in the game, which are divided into three subspecies:

• Survivor - a regular standard human
• Armored - a person with a mutation that has begun. Improved: speed, defense, damage.
• Mutants - Infection has taken over the personality but given inhuman abilities.
