Honkai: Star Rail is a spin-off of Honkai Impact 3rd and a sequel to Post-Honkai Odyssey. The plot of the first game in the series, Honkai Impact 3rd, tells the story of the human race's battles against an apocalyptic world virus destroying planets. Honkai is a weapon created by the Honkai God, a peculiar natural phenomenon that is meant to test the strength of the human race.

Blessing through bloodshed

The Honkai will terrorize the world until it completely destroys the world or until it itself is destroyed. Once the Honkai is defeated-the Great Tree gives its blessing to the world and the Honkai will never again disturb the blessed world. Humanity has been invaded by the Celestials and has been forced to fight for its home. Two of this world, traveling through the universe heard the call of another world attacked by the Celestials. Guests from Post-Honkai Odyssey rush to their aid in the world of Honkai: Star Rail.

No Open World

Hoyoverse, the developers of Genshin Impact and Honkai, did not follow the successful Genshin Impact project and add an open world to the new game. The game is a corridor-type game with a turn-based combat system.

Honkai: Star Rail is not inferior to its predecessor in combat animations and special moves, but does not inherit the overall bleakness of the story. Avid fans of Honkai Impact 3D will definitely be happy to see some familiar faces in the new game:
