JoJo's Bizarre Adventure: Heritage for the Future

The past must remain in the past

The retro fighting game takes the player back to the events of the third installment of the anime and manga JoJo's Bizarre Adventure: Stardust Crusaders. An ancient enemy of the JoJo family and a powerful vampire, Dio Brando reappears in the lives of his half-brother's descendants. The vampires now have an otherworldly ability, a stardom that gives the user incredible power.

Sickness from Egypt

DIO uses the body of one of the Jostars as his own. Therefore, the awakening of the stand has greatly affected Joseph Jostar's daughter and Jotaro Cujo's mother. Jotaro is an ordinary Japanese teenager who has been haunted by an "evil spirit" since a certain time. Joseph flies to Japan to see his grandson and explains the nature of the stands. Stands are the ghostly embodiment of a person's soul with incredible power, but not everyone can have a stanza. For example, Holly Cujo cannot cope with the power of the stanza and becomes very ill. So a team of Joseph Jostar, Jotaro Cujo, Noriaki Kakyoin, Jean-Pierre Polnareff and Mohammed Abdullah go to Egypt to destroy the DIO.

Kill the DIO

The game completely replicates the events described above. However, each encounter with an enemy stanza owner ends in a battle between the player and the computer. The colorful gameplay allows you to fight both with your character's power and to summon the stanza. On your way to the DIO, who serves as the main boss in story mode, you must defeat many of his henchmen. Some of them change the style of the game. Some of these special adversaries include:

• Orangutan Forever - the game becomes a shooter of sorts. Where, playing as Jotaro Cujo, you have to hit a monkey appearing in different parts of the screen with random objects.
• Daniel J. D'Arby - the battle with him is divided into as many as three mini-games. Guess which piece of fish the cat will choose, throw as many coins into a full glass as possible without spilling the liquid, play a game of poker.
• N'Doul - you just have to run up to the blind owner of the stanza in a kind of platformer, periodically dodging the attacks of his stanza.

In addition to the story mode, the game has the usual free mode for two players, like in Street Fighter. Choose your favorite characters and fight through the most unusual powers of the owners of the stands.
