Game Overview
Super Mario 64 is a three-dimensional fairy tale adventure of the famous mustachioed plumber named Mario, who again saves his beloved and explores the dark castle.
Trouble happened
The adventure begins when Mario receives a letter from his beloved, Princess Peach. The note seems to smell of the princess' perfume... In the letter, the cutie asks if Mario wants to come to her castle, because she has baked the world's most delicious cake! Mario rushes to the closet to choose his best outfit before he finishes reading it. He quickly irons the outfit, brushes his hair and runs out of the house.
The lovesick hero is already anticipating the meeting, in his head imagining fairy tale pictures with kisses and cuddles. Opening the door of the castle, he realizes it's too quiet. Hoping for the best, the funny man, tries to chase the bad thoughts away, trying to think of the sweet cream of the cake and Peach's sweet lips. Mario was on his way to Belle's chambers, but he was stopped by a terrible roar, "There's nobody home, get out of there fast! Ha ha ha!" Mario grits his teeth and recognizes - it's bloody Bowser again, his worst enemy. Super Mario Sunshine comes to mind.
Nothing can stop Mario! His confidence has only grown, but the princess' door is closed. Bowser has kidnapped the princess. Bowser has stolen all the keys to the palace. Go on a journey and save your love.
Graphics
Super Mario 64's fun and colorful graphics fit in well with the world of previous Mario games. The animations are crisp and smooth. Nice visual details enhance the experience:
- Butterflies fly
- As the character climbs a tree, the leaves move
- Smoke rises funnily and forms into a cloud
Gameplay
The gameplay is fantastic. The main character will be running, jumping, sliding down an icy slide, flying high, punching enemies with his fists, calculating handy moments and avoiding falling stone slabs. During missions, the camera is not controlled by the player; it moves by itself-it's just like a movie. The hero follows tangled corridors, climbs stairs, opens creaky doors, escapes scary ghosts and retrieves stars from rooftops. The player finds himself in a real fairy tale.
