The Soviet Union got stronger and decided to create hot spots on U.S. territory instead of the Cold War. The main character of Freedom Fighters shooter is a simple plumber who decided to reclaim freedom from the despicable Communists. Take out crowds of Soviet soldiers and prevent the Soviet Union from taking over America.

Not the Cold War

The USSR became the world's superpower and, with the support of all the communist countries of the world, ended World War II by dropping a nuclear bomb on Berlin. After that, all the forces of the USSR and the countries supporting it began to gradually encircle U.S. territory. The protagonist and simple plumber, Christopher Stone, was on his way to another call about a broken pipe, just as the Soviet invasion of New York City begins. Christopher picks up a machine gun and a Molotov cocktail, about to treat the uninvited guests to their last lead dinner.

Salvation Alliance

Chris and his team of several equally desperate freedom fighters:

• Isabella Angelina - former activist and head of the campaign to promote resistance now
• Troy Stone - the protagonist's brother and chief helper in the fight for the freedom of the entire population of America

The three pillars of the resistance - Chris, Troy and Isabella manage hundreds of New Yorkers fleeing the war and Soviet soldiers disillusioned with the government. But the war remains unequal, with the Soviets outnumbered and outgunned, while the resistance has only knowledge of the city and a ghostly hope.

Ways of Resistance Unexplored

When all one has to hope for is oneself and one's own strength, there is always someone to lead the whole movement to victory. Chris Stone turned out to be just such a man. During the months of resistance, Chris, Isabella and Troy have recaptured strategically important objects. To repel such objects is the goal of the player. As soon as the American flag appears over the conquered territory, the mission is considered accomplished. Like in Hitman, Freedom Fighters has workarounds that help you capture an object without a direct confrontation.
