IGI-2: Covert Strike

When a wolf in sheep's clothing lurks among the top brass, there is nothing left but to survive on your own, abandoned in a foreign country, as David Jones did in the shooter IGI-2: Covert Strike. Alone with guns and an enemy lead hail of bullets, Jones must survive to prevent another world war.

Illusion of Choice

Another assignment didn't get the experienced agent in trouble. The Russian mafia has embezzled stolen EMP microcircuits. Jones travels to the Carpathian Mountains to recover the stolen microchips. Having successfully completed his lonely mission, the hero destroys the factory, which has already begun to produce copies of the microcircuits. However, instead of a well-deserved rest and praise from his boss, David receives a condition from the pilot of the helicopter that came to get him. Jump from a height to certain death or get shot in the head. A few seconds after the question, Agent Johnson flies into the void to his certain death.

A job with a price on life

However, the protagonist survives and decides to accomplish the mission and punish the traitors at any cost. Finding himself on the border of Ukraine and Romania, the hero only with his abilities as a fighter must get to the hated enemies and destroy their plans. The game offers an endless series of complex missions with a complete lack of save points. In this, the gameplay is similar to the famous roguelike games, where every time the hero loses, he starts the mission all over again. In combat, the hapless agent will have to use:

• Weapons
• Tactical calculations
• Disguise

Enemy artificial intelligence is quite skilled and can kill you with an accurate hit from a long distance, nullifying all the progress that was achieved during the game. It is by trial and error that even the most dangerous and difficult missions can be completed perfectly.

You choose how you want to play, whether it's stealth mode and knives into the backs of enemies. Calculated to the last second tactics or combat calculated only on the skill of the hero - it's all up to you to choose. It is this kind of battle planning that makes IGI-2: Covert Strike memorable.
