The Forest

The Forest is an open-world survival simulator, a first-person adventure horror, a realistic indie action game where the player survives on a mysterious peninsula and battles hordes of creatures that want to tear it into small pieces.

Plot

Scientists who study the safety of modern vehicles declare that the most dangerous mode of transport is a car and the most harmless is a passenger plane. The protagonist of the game became a statistical error: he found himself on board a plane that crashed. Worst of all, the man took his son Timmy with him.

A terrible thing happened:

• The hull of the plane shattered
• Most of the people turned into a nasty, bloody mess, and the rest went missing
• Communication and help signal equipment is broken

The protagonist opens his eyes - he survived. It took several hours for the character to regain consciousness. When the mental delirium due to the severe blow was gone, the man realized how lucky he was. He searched all over the wreckage for his son... The little boy was missing.

Gameplay

The player's goal is to survive at all costs on the island, which is inhabited by strange, man-eating creatures, and to find his native son. A comfortable camp should be set up. The player can create implements from materials and build. The scenery is pleasing to the eye:

• Coniferous forest
• Dark caves
• Mountains

The player wanders around the dangerous island, testing his survival skills, exploring mysterious places and solving the mystery of missing passengers. As the story progresses, it will become clear how predatory humanoid creatures appeared here, where the surviving passengers disappeared to and how to get out of this hellish place.
