Pokemon Sword and Shield

Becoming a Pokemon trainer and changing the world is every kid's dream in Pokemon Sword and Shield, a game about unusual monsters living in high-tech orbs. Make a lot of pocket friends, help them become better and stronger, because that's the only way to get the title of champion of the Galara region.

Dream on

The main character on whose behalf the player travels through the world of Pokémon is his dream rival's best friend. Hop is the brother of the champion of the Galar region, who desires the same title as his older brother, Leon. After a stunning tournament win, Leon returns to his hometown and finds his brother and his friend through the crowd of fans. The boys tell Leon about their dream of becoming champion of Galar and catching the legendary pokémon.

New Start Pokémon

Leon happily initiates his friends into pokémon trainers and offers a choice of starter pokémon. The choices consist of:

• Grookey - the grass-type pokemon.
• Scorbunny - the fire-type pokemon
• Sobble - the water-type pokemon

Legends come alive in the fog

The rival friends then begin a journey into the forest, where they can not only experience new pokémon battles, but also catch new ones. In the forest mist, they encounter a strange pokémon that does not react in any way to their attacks, as if it does not notice them. Depending on the version, there will be one of the legendary Pokémon introduced by this new installment:

• In the Pokemon Sword version - Zacian
• In the Pokemon Shield version - Zamazenta

The Pokemon disappears into the fog before Leon can get a glimpse of it. Things develop rapidly, and too many obstacles appear on the way to fulfilling the boys' dreams.
