Berenstain Bears: Camping Adventure
City Bears Go Wild
Pack your fishing rod and your picnic basket! You're going camping with the The Berenstain Bears' Camping Adventure, a rip-roarin' Genesis Adventure from Sega. Mama and Papa figure the family will just hibernate for a while. But when Brother Bear and Sister Bear wander off in the woods, you've gotta help them find their way back! Five levels of great graphics and catchy tunes stand between the bear kids and camp sweet camp.
Goin' On A Bear Hunt
These little cubs get into a pawful lot of trouble. They swim after eating, climb high cliffs, and get really, really lost. The trail back to the cozy campfire takes them through fishing streams, a diamond cave, a honey orchard, and a butterfly hike. There's plenty of picnic food for a hungry bear cub! Trouble is, there's also a wild kingdom of mountain lions, crocodiles, and other snarly beasts lurking behind every tree. Zap them with your Bear Bottom Bounce for fur-flying fun.
The bonus level in the Haunted Forest is a fright indeed! Creepy rats, vampire bats, and extremely unfriendly ghosts swoop at you from every angle. It's enough to make your hair—er, fur—stand on end.
Sound tough? If this game's zillions of wild enemies seem a little un-bear-able, take along a friend. After all, two snouts are better than one.
Growwwl! Two hungry bear cubs just climbed into your Genesis, and boy, do they need your help. In The Berenstain Bears' Camping Adventure from Sega, Brother and Sister Bear go for a hike in the woods. Think you can find what they're looking for? You've gotta take on five levels of ferocious forest critters to get there. With sharp graphics, toe-tapping tunes on every level, and the antics of everyone's favorite cub scouts, you'll have a wild time trying.
Feed the Bears
Playing as Brother Bear or Sister Bear in a Iwo-player game, you follow your snout through a crystal cave, a butterfly-filled nature trail, a fishing stream, and a honey orchard. Look for berries, apples, hot dogs, and entire picnic baskets along the way. Just don't let bats, alligators, snakes, and bobcats make a meal of you. Take a flying leap at those wild creatures to show them who's king of the forest.
If all the bees, bugs, and beasts are eating you alive, pack another tent and bring a friend! An extra set of paws might do the trick. Things still a little hairy? Take it easy in Bear Cub mode or medium-hard in Brown Bear mode. Watch out for the Grizzly setting, though—it's a real bear. However you play it, this fun-filled Adventure title will give your paws a real workout. So what are you waiting for? Run wild with the Berenstain Bears!
- Watch out for sliding weasels on the Nature Walk bridges.
- Going uphill usually gets you to the exits faster than going downhill does.
- Wait until birds dive before trying to bounce on them.
- Slide down the slippery slopes in the Cave Adventure. This gives you enough speed to jump to the next platform.
- In the Coin' Fishing level, go downhill to look for hidden areas filled with treats.
