Game Overview

The blockbuster hit Home Alone has found itself a home on Genesis. Just like in the movie, the young Kevin goes up against a pair of hoodlums, the Wet Bandits, while the adults are off yonder celebrating Christmas. The difference is that five houses in Kevin's cozy suburban neighborhood have been staked out by the bandits. Not to worry, tricks are for Kids and Kevin's got plenty of 'em.

With the assistance of your trusty sled, BB gun, and a few handy household items like rubber bands, tacks, jacks, and rope, you must foil the bandit's efforts before they get away with the goods. Good luck, the clock will be ticking.

Kevin Gone Wild

The games begin outdoors with a cruise through the neighborhood on Kevin's sled. While slip sliding through the drifts you can collect extra ammo items (i.e. snowballs) by slamming snowmen. Keep your eyes peeled and you may catch a glimpse of the Wet bandit's van as they motor for an empty house. Follow that car! That's your clue to head for the nearest entrance and start setting traps. But be careful not to fall victim to your own devices. Also, if a bandit catches sight of you, nail him with the BB gun then make a beeline for safety If you get nabbed, you'll be hung up on the nearest picture hook and lose precious time.

When the parents are away, the crooks come out to play. But not when alone. Check out this crazy adventure and see just how much fun being a wild kid can be.

The top - grossing movie comes home to the Genesis and Game Gear, and extends to Kevin's entire neighborhood. Help Kevin save the neighborhood from Harry and Marv by assembling household items into weapons and booby traps. Defend six different houses from Old Victorian to Ultra Modern Ugly. But look out for hidden dangers in each of the houses, like guard dogs and breakaway floors. And to keep you on your toes, each house you visit is more dangerous than the last.

Blueprints of each house show you I where to set up ambushes for best effect. The overhead view lets you go from house to house, while the side scrolling view lets you explore each house in detail. Both views let you gain points for outsmarting Harry and Marv.
