Game Overview
Myst is a mysterious quest game that leaves many questions with each playthrough. The game can be compared to a box, which is closed with many locks. To find the contents inside you need to find the key to each one. It's the same with the game, if you do not find all the riddles - you do not know the whole picture.
Book - teleport
A mysterious book fell into the hands of an unknown man. This man is a player who gets to the island of Mist through an unknown magical folio. There begins an adventure full of riddles. Later, two brothers, who are imprisoned on the island in the form of books, ask for help. Solve the mystery that each of the brothers is hiding and find all the lost pages - that's what the game offers.
Slow walk
Mist stands out among other games of a similar genre with no quests. The player simply walks around the island and solves the puzzles that arise on the way. At the same time, solving all the puzzles and mysteries can be done without rushing.
Pros:
- Plot with a complex moral dilemma of choices
- Logical, moderately challenging puzzles
- Mode with randomized puzzles
Cons:
- Real actors from the original are replaced by three-dimensional models
- Inconvenient control system
One of the best selling games of the 90's. Atmospheric quest with elements of puzzle solving will not leave anyone indifferent.
Dive into the mysterious world of the mystical tome and uncover its secrets.
