Fighting fans, prepare! Final Fight CD from Sega is on its way. This hard-punching, face-kicking, two-player fightin' title features six solid levels of street-brawl action. Fresh from the arcades, Final Fight CD for the Sega CD has new stereo sounds, a new two-player simultaneous mode and new areas. Join Mike Haggar, his soon-to-be son-in-law Cody and his buddy Guy, as they clear out the Mad Gear Gang and rescue Mike's daughter Jessica. It's a fist-to-face frenzy!

You and a bud can choose between Haggar, Guy and Cody to head out and kick some Mad Gear booty You'll bust your way through the Slums, the Subway Park, the West Side, an Industrial Area, Uptown and the Bay Area. There's a fantastic new feature, the Time Attack option, where you and a friend can vie for points in a whole new stage and either work together or against each other in a timed, furious bout. The punch and kick combinations and backbreaking throws have never been better. This color-filled CD has a digital soundtrack that will rev your engine. Final Fight CD is definitely combat supreme.

Jump-kicks and throwing knives are most effective against knife-wield-ing bad guys.

Here's a winning strategy to beat the Samurai. Avoid the Samurai's dashes, kick him in the head, and grab his sword. Repeat as necessary.

When taking on the Slum Boss, hang out by the door and take out the henchmen as they enter the level.

Collect points in the bonus rounds. If you enabled the feature on the Options screen, every hundred thousand will get you a Continue.

In the last stage, the Bay Area, you'll go up against consecutive groups of each individual type of enemy. Remember how you beat them before and use the same strategy to beat them up again.

You'll find food throughout the game. It gives you a recharge on your energy bar. Use it strategically by waiting until you are low on energy before grabbing the snack.

When you're brawlin' with Eddie and his life meter is running low, watch out. Bullets will soon be flying!

Sometimes, you'll find it most useful to use your enemies as a weapon. Toss them at their nasty friends for great effect.

In this Sega CD exclusive Time Attack area, decide in advance if you are going to work with or against your pal.

In many areas you'll find that just standing in the center and wailing away with the pipe will clear the area nicely.

Leaping kicks will floor your opponents each time they try to stand up.

Every self-respecting mayor must be able to defend the honor of the city, even if it is not a verbal, and a fist fight, it is with these concepts entered into service Mayor Michael Haggar in a fighting game - Final Fight. Although Michael did not win the election by violence, using it against the insolent mafia is quite a treat.

When a fighter takes the job ##

Metro City is a city where crime and criminals have taken all the power over the city into their own hands. Violence, a sea of blood and endless armed attacks lead to the decline of the city's infrastructure. The city's new mayor and former wrestler, Michael Haggar, promises to cleanse the city of a hotbed of crime in the form of the Mafia. The city's most powerful criminal organization, Mad Gear Gang, feels seriously threatened by this announcement.

You can fight for your daughter and the city

Mad Gear Gang has kidnapped Michael Haggar's daughter, Jessica, to force her father into unconditional submission to the mafia. However, the wrestler father is only intimidated by the number of faces he will have to turn into mincemeat on his way to save his daughter. Immediately after the report of his daughter's theft, the father goes to her boyfriend, Cody. Cody and his sparring partner, Guy, join the rescue operation to save the mayor's daughter and take down the mob.

The fighters will encounter quite a few tough enemies on their way to the mob boss, but special bodyguards will act as mini-bosses:

Many of these characters may be known to Street Fighter fans. That's right, Final Fight and Street Fighter take place in the same universe. Even games can be related, so don't blame the developers here for borrowing characters and gameplay. A standard 2D fighting game that has a lot in common with Street Fighter.
